Executive Team
Charles E. Noonan ~ CHA President & CEO
Born in New Orleans, LA. Charles started his career in the hotel business as a bellman, did a internship at the Cloister on Sea Island and was the opening General Manager of the Holiday Surf & Racquet Club Condo/hotel in 1975 and then became Vice President & Director of Operations for First Realty Management, Inc which managed other condo/hotels along the Gulf of Mexico from till 1979. Since then, Charles has been a Hotel Executive for four (4) International Hotel Companies. These hotel companies include Ramada International, Prime Hospitality, Carlson Hospitality Worldwide and World Hotels, a European based Hotel Company.
In addition to working for several major international hotel companies for over 30 years, Charles has been an investor/owner in six hotels. In 2003, he formed a professional management company IDH Hospitality, LLC and renovated & opened the Inn on Destin Harbor a boutique hotel and sold it 15 years later May, 2018. In addition to the Inn his company with investors purchased The Carillon Beach Resort Inn in 2011, where his management company IDH Hospitality, is currently managing. With many years of hotel experience he is constantly looking for new opportunities to grow his company within the Hospitality Industry
Chad E. Noonan ~ COO Chief Operating Officer
Chad E. Noonan grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Marist College Prep school. He graduated from University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce & Business Administration with a major in Business Marketing. While in college he worked summers at the Inn on Destin Harbor and gained hands-on experience in every aspect of the business. Following graduation he did a brief tour of Costa Rica, where he worked with Donavan Marina Company of New Orleans before transferring to their Miami, Florida location. After two successful years with Donavan Marine, he accepted a position with the Cotton Bay Resort on the Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas as Director of Marketing which greatly enhanced his knowledge in the Hospitality Business.
Since 2005, Chad has been involved in all areas of operations for several hotels along the gulf coast. His proven track record show significant gains in hotels REVPAR growth year after year as well as improvements in the bottom line. He currently lives in Destin, FL, where he is in charge of new client property take overs and turnaround opportunities using his hiring, training, sales and marketing skills. He takes pride in his employees and team as they are on the front lines and therefore the guests first and last impression. He is flexible, always available, and able to travel to new locations as a consultant, operator, manager, and developer. He is always focused on improving the bottom line without sacrificing guest satisfaction.
Carolyn Noonan ~ Vice President of Operations
Carolyn Noonan grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Marist College Prep school. She graduated from University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hospitality and Resort Management. After college she worked as a manager for a large catering company in Atlanta before moving to Destin in 2007 and joining her family in managing the Inn on Destin Harbor. Her role as a manager of the Inn on Destin Harbor helped her gain experience in every aspect of the hospitality business including front desk operation, housekeeping management and guest relations.
She has since been involved in all areas of operations for several hotels along the gulf coast. She currently lives in Panama City Beach, Florida where she has a lead management role at Carillon Beach Resort Inn. Her current position involves every aspect of hotel management including revenue management, hiring and training, and owner/rental relations. She has a proven track record of prioritizing guest and employee satisfaction with a focus on a profitable bottom line.
